Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jailson Leão, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Mikkel Wulff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Zé Augusto de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the game, Egídio Vaz lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Keld Paulsen. After 11 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto de Sousa. Bertram Svenningsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Macedo having to make a save. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alfredo Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Egídio Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes in the game Jailson Leão did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Didi Vergílio. 18 minutes in the game, Hílton Cabral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Didi Vergílio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Didi Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Augusto de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Gilmar Veloso fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Era's protests and gave Gilmar Veloso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Gilmar Veloso got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Macedo skillfully saved the ball. When Nova Era's Egídio Vaz in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Nova Era booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Didi Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Macedo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egídio Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Vergílio in the 55th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kenn Skou's late challenge caught a Nova Era's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenn Skou helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nova Era:s goal. The referee gave Nova Era a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vito Freire, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. 3-0. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Nova Era's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mikkel Wulff fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfredo Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Zé Augusto de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but Nova Era were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
