Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horia Chioreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Peralta came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 minutes of play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Horia Chioreanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nuno Peralta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Peralta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Nuno Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Katona Janos suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Basarab Panduru fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Basarab Panduru a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Basarab Panduru got a free kick in the 34th minute. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Nuno Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Boieraș hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Hungary were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Leonard Floricel charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Floricel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Floricel. A hard shot 54 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Nuno Peralta managed to make a qualified save. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's players were relieved. After 59 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Peralta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Basarab Panduru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Eric Gorcea was substituted for Valer Perișoară. Costin Malcoci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Adrian Nasta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 88th minute of play. Costin Malcoci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt.
