Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Vanderstraeten kicked off to start the match. In the 12th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Gong Ying Zheng. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 15th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin in the 20th minute of play. If Siebe Michiels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Siebe Michiels got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gong Ying Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC zoetwater's goalie prevented a goal. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 44th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bernardo Sharkin made the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gong Ying Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Sharkin in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gong Ying Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Vanderstraeten to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Bernardo Sharkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gong Ying Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Patrik Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC zoetwater's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Olsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Gong Ying Zheng in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Sharkin in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
