Rickard Pihlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kees Mooiweer during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Kees Mooiweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Gdowik got free with Arnout Reekers in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Szczepan Niezywy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Typy z Nienacka's Tymoteusz Galagan. Witold Gdowik kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Typy z Nienacka's Szczepan Niezywy. Szczepan Niezywy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Szczepan Niezywy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Pihlgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szczepan Niezywy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Typy z Nienacka's goalkeeper Szczepan Niezywy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Typy z Nienacka's Szczepan Niezywy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Typy z Nienacka from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Szczepan Niezywy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kees Mooiweer made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer however managed to control. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szczepan Niezywy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofil Pysz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands played a much better game than Typy z Nienacka and deserved their victory. The Typy z Nienacka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
