Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Teofilo Coleira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ferman Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 2nd minute of the match. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Guillen having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferman Guillen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 12th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Sugamuxi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordero Jesus to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sugamuxi's Vedillo Galan got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Coleira. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferman Guillen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Teofilo Coleira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferman Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferman Guillen. Ferman Guillen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Ferman Guillen. Sugamuxi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Sugamuxi's Ferman Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play. Goyo Salais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Goyo Salais got free with Arnout Reekers in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led to Sugamuxi's Reuben Billington getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 44th minute, Reuben Billington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ferman Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferman Guillen came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferman Guillen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Billington in the 57th minute of play. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sugamuxi made a substitution. Salamon Villachica replaced Nataniel Hormaza. The supporters of Sugamuxi booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferman Guillen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Goyo Salais took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Sugamuxi's Ferman Guillen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sugamuxi from getting a goal against them. Ferman Guillen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 84th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sugamuxi's Ferman Guillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferman Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sugamuxi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sugamuxi's goalie and right to Kees Mooiweer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sugamuxi's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
