Loko Plovdiv were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nacho Barbutski took the corner. The supporters of Loko Plovdiv booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Schwerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Loko Plovdiv's Nacho Barbutski in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 12th minute of play forced Loko Plovdiv's goalkeeper Vladimir Tomanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 15th minute of play. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Nacho Barbutski scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Loko Plovdiv's Nacho Barbutski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Nacho Barbutski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Nacho Barbutski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Nacho Barbutski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven Krakouer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Loko Plovdiv:s goal. Loko Plovdiv were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nacho Barbutski took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Yanek Platnarov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nacho Barbutski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Svetoslav Shtúrbanov kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Galabin Kalinkov made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emil Kalein however managed to control. In the 77th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Barbutski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Barbutski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 84th minute of the match. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Germany's Albin Holweck after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 89th minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nacho Barbutski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loko Plovdiv's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Barbutski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
