Vintilă Murgu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Murgu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Murgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of play. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sigfrid Weikert in the 23 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Murgu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Italy got a corner. The Huns's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eliseo Cutri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Huns's Vintilă Murgu did a great save. Zena Busacca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Daniel Ţîrlea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Flavio Vittori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Isac Şoimu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gomberto Picozzi however managed to control. Vintilă Murgu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Daniel Ţîrlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Murgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of the match. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Murgu having to interfere. Siricio Liotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vintilă Murgu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute of the game Deodato Magliozzi made a throw-in which Siricio Liotta played forward. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 81st minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Murgu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 89th minute. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. After 92 minutes The Huns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sansone Vanella got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vintilă Murgu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 93 minutes into the match, Sansone Vanella notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Huns's Vintilă Murgu. Vintilă Murgu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Huns.
