Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iustin Bungeanu got the match started through his kick off. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Bungeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Régis de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 29th minute of play. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Hungary's Antal Valentin suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. Hungary's Jonas Imre was substituted for Antal Valentin. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Roderick Oosterhof hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Imre was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Palmeiras got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarcisio Reis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 54 minutes into the game, Palmeiras's Iustin Bungeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kléberson Neiva struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. After having played for 59 minutes, Iustin Bungeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Bungeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Tarcisio Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmeiras made a substitution. Wesley Fantini replaced Iustin Bungeanu. In the 67th minute, Tarcisio Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szekeres Tamas charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szekeres Tamas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wesley Fantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Fantini in the 72nd minute of the match. Wesley Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76th play minutes Wesley Fantini shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Fodor Daniel and just under the crossbar into goal. When Palmeiras's Wesley Fantini in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute of the match, Jonas Imre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Régis de Queirós was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós. Régis de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91stth minute of the game Wesley Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Imre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Régis de Queirós made a huge save. If Wesley Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Palmeiras were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
