In the 19th play minute Matias Gelmiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilson Amorim. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Gizon. ALIDIM FOR EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Matias Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gelmiro in the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Graciano Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Matias Gelmiro made the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Portugal's Viriato Moura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Ramon Pueblo was substituted for Matias Gelmiro. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of play. Herminio Gizon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fernando Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALIDIM FOR EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Herminio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Selatse in the 76th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, ALIDIM FOR EVER's Arnulfo Sugoi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Herminio Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Jairo Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Bartolomeu Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Gizon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Portugal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
