Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdi Ufki having to make a save. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdi Ufki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael de Amorim in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natanael de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sebastian Murry put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn.
