Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Prudencio Goiz got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Adria Bielsa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Portillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Prudencio Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Prudencio Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Prudencio Goiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Gabriel Ascaso however easily saved by the left post. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Adria Bielsa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Silvano Portillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Silvano Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juli Alvarez in the 22nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Criado was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Prudencio Goiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Ascaso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Prudencio Goiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Ascaso. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 41st match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Jurado to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gică Bogdan sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Goiz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 58th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 62 in the game by Enrique Rabellino from a close distance when the talented Silvano Portillo managed to make a qualified save. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s players were relieved. If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo was substituted for Juli Alvarez. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Dobromir Prokowski was substituted for Tudor Hurezeanu. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Cubero in the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Saturnino Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Carles Cherro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Spain failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
