Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Oto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Eleazar could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. Venancio Oto came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Oto quite easily take care of the ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Frichoso in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Punta Alvear were awarded a corner. Jacinto Eleazar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Punta Alvear's Flavio Izel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Jacinto Eleazar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Inocencio Frichoso took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 52nd minute of play. If Inocencio Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Punta Alvear's Edelmiro Veremundo was substituted for Emanuel Gizon. Jacinto Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Venancio Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. 90 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takacs Tibor's late challenge caught a Punta Alvear's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takacs Tibor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Venancio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Inocencio Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Punta Alvear had won after a very even match.
