The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Abascal in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Jareniówka SSA's Melquiades Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Melquiades Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, Flavio Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jareniówka SSA's Wawrzyniec Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hugon Jaszyna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Flavio Abascal made the kick off in the second half. In the 80thth minute of the game Flavio Abascal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albin Holweck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 90 minutes into the match, Jareniówka SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Wawrzyniec Jajko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Ertunç Usun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ertunç Usun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
