Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Oliveira in the 16th minute. Aigisthos Farmakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. El Millo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Acácio Oliveira in the 24th minute. El Millo's Sergio Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save El Millo from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Caton. El Millo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of France booed when El Millo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigisthos Farmakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Barbier to maneuver through the defense. Aigisthos Farmakis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Sergio Caton in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Millo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. Camille Baume was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sergio Caton made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in El Millo's zone, Camille Baume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Caton came out of the goal and Camille Baume tried to chip the ball over his head. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jean Bombelles hit a great ball. If Nigel Zammit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Aigisthos Farmakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Millo's Sergio Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 84th minute of play. Aigisthos Farmakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Dupuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Peletier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergio Caton firmly grabbed it by the left post. 93 minutes in the game Salvador Mambru did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcelo Evangelista. In the 95th minute, Frank Peletier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Caton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Millo fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
