Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ekber Merdan started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute of the match The Huns got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andre Huyterhoeven ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andre Huyterhoeven scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Ekber Merdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Huns's Carl Booth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play. Carl Booth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nicholas Ramachandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ekber Merdan hit a great ball. Carl Booth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 41st minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Merdan in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Sigfrid Weikert made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ekber Merdan. Carl Booth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Andre Huyterhoeven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andre Huyterhoeven was slow to take the kick. During this time The Huns's players had a chance to rest. In the 58th minute, Andre Huyterhoeven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicholas Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Booth made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Scott Martindale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Merdan in the 69th minute of play. The Huns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Bartolomeu Dias scored to the left of an out of position Carl Booth, making the score, 1-2. After 73 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Faustino Almeida hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Ekber Merdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Merdan in the 84th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Carl Booth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Huyterhoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ekber Merdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Huns's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekber Merdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigfrid Weikert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Sigfrid Weikert made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. Isac Şoimu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After 98 played minutes The Huns got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Ramachandran. The Portugal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Portugal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
