With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Ekber Merdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ekber Merdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ekber Merdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Carl Booth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. Carl Booth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Almeida in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Merdan in the 55th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Booth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Booth having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Carl Booth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Booth came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The Huns's Ekber Merdan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Huns's Carl Booth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Huns's goalkeeper Carl Booth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Merdan in the 84th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carl Booth. Caetano Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Faustino Almeida made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felipinho Amorim immediately put the ball in play. In the 95th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Booth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
