Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ioan Cucu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nichifor Feroiu. Fc Otelul Galati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fc Otelul Galati's Nichifor Feroiu. Nichifor Feroiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Feroiu having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichifor Feroiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Luca Barbosu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Germany booed when Fc Otelul Galati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Nicolau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Feroiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Fc Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Covaci to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Feroiu having to interfere. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Feroiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ioan Cucu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Otelul Galati. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Otelul Galati's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nichifor Feroiu quite easily take care of the ball. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Germany's Linus Schwerner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Frank Sachs got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 5-0 in the right cross in the 36th match minute before Nichifor Feroiu had time to react. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Albin Holweck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichifor Feroiu. That made the score 6-0 after 44 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nichifor Feroiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nichifor Feroiu. Fc Otelul Galati's Nichifor Feroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Otelul Galati's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Feroiu came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nichifor Feroiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany.
