Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 7th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Boroondara Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Boroondara Milan booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 21 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Martyon Diehl managed to make a qualified save. Boroondara Milan's players were relieved. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 25th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martyon Diehl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Martyon Diehl in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Carlisle Fenwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Carlisle Fenwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Paco Everett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Carlisle Fenwick made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlisle Fenwick to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Boroondara Milan's Andres Stevens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. The supporters of Boroondara Milan booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlisle Fenwick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 66th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th play minute Carlisle Fenwick came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 0-5. In the 70th minute, Carlisle Fenwick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boroondara Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Boroondara Milan made a substitution. Rusty Reynolds replaced Paco Everett. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Carlisle Fenwick sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 79th minute, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlisle Fenwick in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlisle Fenwick in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carlisle Fenwick did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 86 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 89th minute of play. Jason Sperling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The Germany fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boroondara Milan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
