Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. When CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Arnaldo Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Basajaun couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Basajaun. Arnaldo Basajaun scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Arnaldo Basajaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Arnaldo Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Basajaun came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Basajaun in the 38th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Arnaldo Basajaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Jorge-Luis Valdivia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 57th minute. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Yu Quan Di was substituted for Amadeu Pinho. In the 58th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Yu Quan Di sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Arnaldo Basajaun sent off a good shot on target. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match, Arnaldo Basajaun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Arnaldo Basajaun scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 0-7. 83 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Håland. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute Yu Quan Di shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Yu Quan Di to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Yu Quan Di sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. When the final whistle sounded CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Germany.
