In the 21st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Corumbaense F.C. booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüseyin Turan Özerol got free with Tommy Kahn in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Fred Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Ferreira came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. Corumbaense F.C.'s Ruy Mota was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes, Ruy Mota made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 59th minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Vânderson Camargo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Ferreira in the 79th minute of the match. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Luís Eduardo dos Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 85th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Vânderson Camargo sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. If Vânderson Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corumbaense F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
