Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kyle Cox started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Seth Young was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HIT Gorica the free kick. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Seth Young hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Lovrencij Brezavšček got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah Macdonald in the 7th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Caelan Hayes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Caelan Hayes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lovrencij Brezavšček hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micah Macdonald in the 28th minute of play. Konstantin Pančur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 29th minute of play. Erland Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. England's Issac Dawson got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Goražd Djordjević stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Issac Dawson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Issac Dawson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Pančur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Anis Doberšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Micah Macdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Pančur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of England booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Hostar didn't get a good kick on the ball. England's Micah Macdonald couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HIT Gorica. 75 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micah Macdonald. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goražd Djordjević, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goražd Djordjević in the 80th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Hostar during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Hostar. After 82 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Gallagher. Lovrencij Brezavšček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalid Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Goražd Djordjević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIT Gorica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goražd Djordjević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Roni Hafner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Vasilije Sedlak got a free kick in the 94th minute. Caelan Hayes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konstantin Pančur. HIT Gorica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
