When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Romeo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Ubarna got free with Tommy Kahn in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Lluis having to interfere. The supporters of Boxitracio FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Romeo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Gaitano in the 56th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Lluis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Boxitracio FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cayetano Gaitano took the corner. The corner ended in Cayetano Gaitano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 61st minute, Bernardino Domenec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Boxitracio FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Domenec. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Lluis having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Angel Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Boxitracio FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ladislao Pueblo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Lluis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Boxitracio FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Lluis came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Boxitracio FC could leave the field as winners, despite Germany having more of the ball for most of the match.
