Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Radoslaw Oleszak however easily saved by the left post. La Bestia Negra's Radoslaw Oleszak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save La Bestia Negra from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Seco in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Falcão Vasconcelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Radoslaw Oleszak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Radoslaw Oleszak made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, La Bestia Negra's goalkeeper Radoslaw Oleszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The corner led Netherlands's David Eikelkamp to a score. 2-1 in the 35th minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, La Bestia Negra's Cauã Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Netherlands booed when La Bestia Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Bestia Negra's Radoslaw Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Misael Darroja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bestia Negra's George Orășan was substituted for Diguinho Seco. La Bestia Negra's Radoslaw Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 61st minute of play. Netherlands's Lars Meesters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radoslaw Oleszak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnout Reekers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Falcão Vasconcelos. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Bestia Negra's goalkeeper Radoslaw Oleszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radoslaw Oleszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radoslaw Oleszak. Radoslaw Oleszak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bestia Negra's Radoslaw Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 82nd minute of play. Radoslaw Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when George Orășan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-3. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Radoslaw Oleszak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Radoslaw Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 90th minute of play. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. La Bestia Negra succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Netherlands had controlled the match.
