An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 58th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Xandro Valdovinos threw the ball into play from the sideline.
