Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thomas Vollmar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Sven Krakouer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. In the 18th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Vollmar got free with Tommy Kahn in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Thomas Vollmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Pankracy Malicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. A hard shot 40 in the game by Thomas Vollmar from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Vollmar to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Thomas Vollmar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. During the 64th minute of the match Sven Krakouer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Zé Paulo Zonta in the 66th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. After 68 minutes, Thomas Vollmar made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Stein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 81st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Pacholewski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Marian Erland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newcastle United fully deserved thier win.
