In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Fura Balizas getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Raul Lameirinhas hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Olívio Ribas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 3-0. After some careless play in the FC Fura Balizas defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Long Gang Sen. The FC Fura Balizas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Long Gang Sen should have stopped the shot. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. After 44 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Madruga.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olívio Ribas was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Olívio Ribas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olívio Ribas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Ribas in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fura Balizas's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Long Gang Sen came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Fura Balizas's Gusmão Benevides was substituted for Fumo Alto. FC Fura Balizas's Cândido Cabral was substituted for Mario Azeari. FC Fura Balizas's Eugeniusz Sanocki was substituted for Olívio Ribas. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Vicente Madruga made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eugeniusz Sanocki immediately put the ball in play. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. Long Gang Sen was a little too slow when Adriano Curto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-2. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Long Gang Sen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Curto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Fura Balizas support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
