The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth in the 4th minute of play. Gunnar Ekeroth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute, George Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Ekeroth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gunnar Ekeroths short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Germany booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Lukaku in the 15th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Three Lions FC's Gunnar Ekeroth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. The supporters of Germany booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Lukaku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Ekeroth to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Filanowski. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gunnar Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Ekeroth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janik Vogt charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Gunnar Ekeroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65th minute George Grealish suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Three Lions FC made a substitution. George Pavard replaced George Grealish. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 66th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Ekeroth in the 67th minute of play. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
