After having played for 25 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Denmark booed when Forever Young was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferry Birowo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Forever Young getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Deni Bahalwan hit a great ball. Dono Puspito was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Chris Nygaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Nygaard really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syamsul Kuswoyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dono Puspito was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dono Puspito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Seto Kuswoyo in the 75 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Forever Young's Yoppie Kartolo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dono Puspito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Forever Young getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ferry Birowo hit a great ball. Denmark's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
