Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Graciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 18th minute. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Benito Galeno with Alexander Palmer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Benito Galeno got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alexander Palmer. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Growlithe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Bernabe Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Armani having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Palmer got free with Flavio Vittori in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Alexander Palmer came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Growlithe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Palmer couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Graciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. After having played for 90 minutes, Ahmet Baki Ulualp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Growlithe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Baki Ulualp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
