In the 35thth minute of the game Bruno Aversano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Vaiani made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Domenico De Rubeis immediately put the ball in play. Fausto Vaiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Aldo Aloisi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Gagliano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 46th minute of the match.

After 56 minutes of play, all players for sale's Claudio Valcareggi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Ulrich Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Bruno Aversano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. all players for sale's Dario Gagliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 67th minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by all players for sale's Bruno Aversano. But to his dismay, Bruno Aversano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fedele Trivelli, made in the 92nd minute of the game. There was no doubt that all players for sale were the better team. all players for sale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
