In the 26th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Corrêa in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Italy booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Krumov didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minuim SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
