An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 93rd minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Olympique Gdynia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
