Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Rune Mellberg made the kick off which started today's match. Bengt-Rune Mellberg took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Barnier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Mellberg in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Barnier. U.S.Normande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Felipe Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Barnier having to interfere. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Aymerick Tourrette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bengt-Rune Mellberg sent off a good shot on target. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Yoann Louvet in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Christopher Barnier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurélien Mussard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aurélien Mussard sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Aymerick Tourrette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the match it was 2-1 when Aymerick Tourrette shot a long shot which zipped by Portugal's goalkeeper at the right pole. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Barnier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Viriato Moura managed to work through U.S.Normande's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Viriato Moura dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Barnier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Yoann Louvet threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Christopher Barnier made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute of the match, Caetano Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christopher Barnier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Christopher Barnier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Borderie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Barnier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Christopher Barnier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. U.S.Normande's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Viriato Moura 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. After 96 minutes, Bartolomeu Dias made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. U.S.Normande's Christopher Barnier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
