In the 20th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄松钢 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 于磊铮 in the 26th minute of play. 庄松钢 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Frank Peletier got a very nice opportunity to score, but 庄松钢 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 赵平夕's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 赵平夕 helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that France were the better team. France's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
