Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buba Seco in the 34th minute of play. São Paulo F.C.'s Kléber Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vito Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Dirk Snabl put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 59th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Snabl, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Snabl came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buba Seco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Ulrich Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Godoi having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Snabl in the 93rd minute of play. Dirk Snabl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The São Paulo F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
