The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mantzio Poz in the 13th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Breton in the 15th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Viriato Moura came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Moura couldn't finish the play. If Ben Breton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Ben Breton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Breton scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tristan Franquis made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Breton in the 38th minute of play. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mantzio Poz in the 39th minute. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Mantzio Poz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The attack was good, but when Liu Liang Gang in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 43 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Tristan Franquis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute. Felipe Barreto made a great header on Portugal's corner, it was just that Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis managed to reach the ball for a save. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Breton in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Ben Breton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Ben Breton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feng Chuan Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Feng Chuan Liang hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 69th minute of play. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's attentive Amar Bouziane managed to snatch the ball when Felipinho Amorim made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Anastasios Machlas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. Bartolomeu Dias scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tristan Franquis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Anastasios Machlas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Machlas couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasios Machlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felipinho Amorim however managed to control. Tristan Franquis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipinho Amorim went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
