Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Doctor Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 14th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Cubero hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Spain's Omar Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Omar Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Herauso. Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Vicente Merino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polo Quinteros in the 32nd minute. Santiago Sartori made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Omar Toledo. Doctor Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Polo Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when M. Agus Young made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, David Aranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 59th minute of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Spain's Adria Bielsa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Herauso. That made the score 0-3 after 70 minutes of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Edmundo Nóbrega replaced Aldo Hartz. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Florentino Herauso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th minute Pau Herrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
