The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Baldomiro Justin in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Yrigoyen.F.C's Aurelio Feliz got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Yrigoyen.F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Klose made a kick off. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but CJ Klose showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 57 minute of play. In the 65th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. Yrigoyen.F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Netherlands's much stronger midfield.
