Lars Meesters scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Pacifico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Virgilio Pacifico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Virgilio Pacifico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Virgilio Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Pacifico was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgilio Pacifico came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Virgilio Pacifico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 34 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Stark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Pacifico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toto Škarpa made a kick off. In the 54th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızhan Yurdaşen came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Toto Škarpa put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. After 63 minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lars Meesters almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico did a great save. After 65 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. In the 66th minute, Iker Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Toto Škarpa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 6-2 after 67 minutes of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Patricio Rey Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Montiel came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Gust Ennemans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Venancio Mikelats in the 78 minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Stark. The nice shot from Nick Stark in the 84thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arnout Reekers had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 86th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot a long shot in the 86th minute and a light blocked Virgilio Pacifico hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 7-2. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 7-3. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
