The 1947 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Johnson should have stopped the shot. After 20 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. In the 21st minute, Cristobal Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in 1947 FC's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Johnson came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Alejo Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 34th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Brian Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Johnson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. 1947 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brian Johnson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 62 minutes 1947 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1947 FC made a substitution. When Vörös Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 74th minute Armando Fasoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristobal Baumar was slow to take the kick. During this time 1947 FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on 1947 FC's corner Cristobal Baumar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Fasoli in the 77th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, 1947 FC's goalkeeper Brian Johnson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary's Major Barna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Armando Fasoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1947 FC.
