Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Diogo Arruda scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Germany booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Tohias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Diogo Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Diogo Arruda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Diogo Arruda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Diogo Arruda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Glad in the 31st minute of play. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Diogo Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 70 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Clube Atlético Luziense's José Vítor Machado was substituted for Luiz Guilherme Barreto. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Artemio Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Vítor Machado's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Machado helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Luziense's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Tohias came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arthur Paraíba hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube Atlético Luziense fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
