Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Omar Toledo kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Beliran Poblaciones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Ibiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Beliran Poblaciones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 9th minute of play. Edgardo Cosca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. If Beliran Poblaciones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Beliran Poblaciones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Ibiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Edgardo Cosca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ascaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Omar Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rene Higuita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Fonso's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 46th minute, Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Club Ibiza's Ştefan Vornicescu was substituted for Beliran Poblaciones. The wind increased when Bruno Fonso made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Cosca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Vicente Merino fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spain's protests and gave Vicente Merino a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Fonso in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Bruno Fonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ascaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Cosca in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Vornicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. David Aranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rene Higuita made a huge save. In the 86th minute Ştefan Vornicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Asprilla in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ştefan Vornicescu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Ibiza. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Sergio Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Ibiza were victorious despite being under pressure from Spain for much of the match.
