In the 3rdth minute of the game Fabián Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Fabián Fuentes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Germany booed when Once Virgos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Once Virgos FC's Fabián Fuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fabián Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabián Fuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Fabián Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Once Virgos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabián Fuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Silverio Paulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Silverio Paulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fabián Fuentes sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabián Fuentes in the 34th minute of play. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Fabián Fuentes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Bertassi in the 55th minute. Eustaquio Rumaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Fabián Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Once Virgos FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silverio Paulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabián Fuentes in the 64th minute of the match. The Once Virgos FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Once Virgos FC's Fabián Fuentes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 72nd minute of play forced Once Virgos FC's goalkeeper Fabio Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabián Fuentes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Fabián Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Once Virgos FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silverio Paulin took the corner. Silverio Paulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Vicente Estevez fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Once Virgos FC's protests and gave Vicente Estevez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when Once Virgos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Fabián Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Once Virgos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Germany throughout the match.
