Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Alfred Pawelczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jiang Lei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Major Barna took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jiang Lei. Jiang Lei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Alfred Pawelczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Alfred Pawelczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Boros Benedek. After having played for 37 minutes, Kurt Groll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cura del Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Groll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Malvin. 44 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiang Lei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Groll in the 55th minute of play. Jiang Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Gerardo Malvin got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Silvano Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 69th minute of play.
