Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Club Atletico Union's Vicente Baumer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Benet hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Vicente Baumer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Vicente Baumer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Loren in the 16th minute of the match. Club Atletico Union's Feliciano Playo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Vicente Baumer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Serafino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot by Jose-Antonio Casillas from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Paz in the 33rd minute of the match. Vicente Baumer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Club Atletico Union got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose-Antonio Casillas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Vicente Baumer drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Germany's goalkeeper. Serafino Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 43rd minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafino Cisco came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Esteve Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Norino during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Club Atletico Union got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Norino. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Union's Esteve Loren. But to his dismay, Esteve Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Paz in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Union's goalkeeper Serafino Cisco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose-Antonio Casillas made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Maximiliano Benet. Esteve Loren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Vicente Baumer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Loren in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Union's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
