Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabirel Garantos in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Cambranes in the 6th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Volvio Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Cambranes in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Cambranes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Loren, 1-0. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabirel Garantos's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Manuel Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Barrionuevo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 61st minute of play. Manuel Loren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Barrionuevo in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 70th minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Silverio Barrionuevo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Wim Wilmes scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Loren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Presebal was slow to take the kick. During this time Volvio Moreno's players had a chance to rest. In the 92nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabirel Garantos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Netherlands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Volvio Moreno for a fine match.
