Tomé Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tico Machado hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Ronaldo Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 51st minute of the match. Ferreira Lopes MZC's João Francisco Vianna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Szekeres Tamas, made in the 57th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
