Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viriato Moura made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute, POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Pancracio Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of play forced POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 39 minutes, Viriato Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes POPULAR F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maicon de Godoi. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

53 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Pancracio Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancracio Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the game Bruno Bastos made a throw-in which Felipe Barreto played forward. Valdomiro Dionísio took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save POPULAR F.C from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pancracio Paniagua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Váldson Tande replaced Gilson Cordeiro. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pancracio Paniagua saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Moyle in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Caetano Moreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pancracio Paniagua. The goal made the score 4-1. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pancracio Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Stefaan Valkeneers threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Attila Szepesvári hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. POPULAR F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
