Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cecilio Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, São Brás FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to São Brás FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fábio Valadares hit a great ball. Cecilio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute. Cecilio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Bruno Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of play forced São Brás FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, São Brás FC's Zachary Zdrojowy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piara Turko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piara Turko to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Piara Turko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Bruno Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Bruno Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Polo having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, São Brás FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Cecilio Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Turko in the 74th minute of play. São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save São Brás FC from getting a goal against them. Cecilio Polo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Eulalio Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Polo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Takacs Tibor hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but São Brás FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
