Kazimierz Rostow hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Switzerland were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Kazimierz Rostow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Rostow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Roman Tim Tfaruk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Switzerland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
